Don’t delay getting health concerns checked out

If you have any concerns about your health, we’re here for you.

Across the country it has become clear that some people have not been seeking help for health problems during the pandemic, possibly out of fear of catching the virus.

In some cases this has led to their problems becoming worse – to the point that they need urgent or emergency treatment. Our services have changed a lot since the pandemic began, yet we’ve been here throughout to continue to support you.

We do ask that you contact us by phone or online rather than coming to the surgery, and that you should only visit us if we specifically ask you to.

This has been a very big change for all of us and we’re really grateful to you for working with us – and to our staff for their huge efforts in making it happen. We want you to assure you that our services are safe to use and that if you have any concerns about your health you should contact us as soon as possible.

Whatever the problem, it is always better to act early so that it can be identified and treated promptly and prevented from getting any worse.

NHS111

Remember that you can also get advice and support for urgent health problems from NHS111, either by phone or online (111.nhs.uk) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

COVID-19 testing

If you think you may have coronavirus, you can now get a free NHS test. If you need medical advice about your symptoms then contact NHS 111 online – 11.nhs.uk/covid-19.

Tests are at either drive-through or walk-through test sites (you may need to book in advance), or by using a home kit that is sent to you on request. Find out more about the different options and how to access them here: NHS.uk: Coronavirus – get an antigen test to check if you have coronavirus

Online registration

Many of you have registered to be able to access services online. We hope you enjoy the benefits of this, such as:
